The hub of all operations is the Glen Innes head office.
Located conveniently on the junction of the New England and Gwydir Highways this purpose built transport facility with driver amenities and sleeping quarters accomodates approx half of the stocktrans fleet.Not only is Glen Innes used as a washing , parking and refueling point but it also houses the fleets major repair and maintenance workshop.
All major repairs and maintenance is done" in house " by our experienced team of mechanics and boilermakers. With two drive thru service and wheel alignment pits, our service team can complete a service on a full B double with little interuption to its busy routine.
Operations is run from here with Warren Perkins and John Mathewson organising movements of up to 2000 head of cattle for 20 different customers over 3 states each day. All cattle movements from each depot are phoned in daily via the area manager .These loads are then prioritised and allocated " to trucks in the area " to ensure the cattle are moved as quickly and efficiently as possible.
This detailed network of depots ensures that no matter when or where a client needs a truck STOCKTRANS can pick up and deliver in a timely and professional manner.
